Help please!

My cat is 10, and she’s starting to get a little underweight, and she won’t eat or drink much at all.
She also keeps peeing in the garage.
Is she just getting old? Help please!

But she’s only 10 years old.. and most would live to be 13-15.
Are there any other possibilities?

The eating and drinking could be a sign that there is a problem with her mouth somewhere, I’d get a vet to check that out, as for peeing, that’s probably age

Take her to the vet. She might just have a bladder infection.

She’s an outdoor cat, but whenever she’s inside she drools on everything, and she also seems hesitant to interact with any cat in the neighborhood.
We have another cat, who is slightly younger.

I know it is very difficult. I would take the time to take the cat to a good vet.

She’s a female Tabby mixed breed, if that would affect it in any way.

I hate to be a party pooper but sounds like that cat saw better days already and if I was you, I would keep her away from the younger cat you have just in case it has a contagious illness and might give it to your younger cat. Sorry but that’s a precaution you must take. :(

The reason I’m not sure it’s old age is because she still pretty energetic. If you watch her, she’s not just lazing around.

You won’t know until you actually take her to a vet.

We’re going to take her to the vet, but is there anything I can do currently?

That’s a good idea, but Sandy (that’s her name) has always been picky, and I’m not sure if she’d eat it.

Oh, one other thing. She’ll constantly meow like she’s hungry or wants attention, but neither of those things seem to please her when we do them.

Maybe.. but in the past she wouldn’t take cat treats.

Ok.. well, it’s different. Sometimes she likes inside, sometimes she likes outside, and we don’t have a catflap to use.

Ok. Thank you! I’ll try to do that, and we’ll get her to a vet soon.
Anything else I should do for her?
