I’m not sure that Ahmadinejad lost, but I bet he didn’t get nearly as many votes as they say he did.

I say Mousavi, from what I’ve seen.

Hard to know, but it surely was not a fair election like just about anywhere else in the world.

Reminds me of the 2000 election in the US.
And the 2004 election in the US.

Well-funded lies vs blatant lies.

There is a lot of corruption everywhere. It is a good thing that it is coming out more and people are protesting more.

I’m sure a lot of people were scared to vote for Mousavi and I would have been too. I’m also pretty sure none of the votes were counted. We should be more worried about North Korea though… There’s a reason 18 year olds are volunteering to leave the USA and enter war zones in the Middle East. Every soldier there joined because they wanted to.

There’s never been a day on this planet where we had less that five problems or issues to care or worry about. Yes, North Korea is a major issue. However, that doesn’t mean it’s the only situation that deserves our attention.

I am not sure who won, either one could have. I doubt it was in a total landslide like they said. The whole election seemed odd and the lack of info from our government doesn’t help.

Ahmadinejad- although the protests make it look like the opposition is in majority to him there is a much larger silent majority supporting him. I think theres a lot of people who like the fact that he takes a hardline with the rest of the world and remember there are a great number of conservative Iranians at the time. Though perhaps like Ikari says, his majority might well have been…. expanded a little. I dont think he lost though.

Mousavi….there is a large amount proof he did win mainly because he had a lot more popular majority…and people that were in charge of counting in certain counties said that Mousavi lost in his own “race” and stuff like that and lost in areas where he was gauranteed to win…it would be like obama not having the majority black vote against mccain and and mccain not winning texas…
