What causes cellulite?

I am thin but have lots of cellulite. I would rather be fatter but have firm skin.
Is there anyway to get rid of cellulite?

You could be thin, yet have more fat then muscle on you.
Some big people have a lot of muscle so it seems as if their body is tight.
Try toning your body all over.

Toning? Would walking do that, or do I need to go to a gym to work out? Last summer I did pilates almost everyday and I started to feel pretty good with my body. Now, since I stopped it all seems worse than before I did pilates.

I do not have really have time for pilates or gym at the moment.

just staying active, whatever it might be does the trick. Walking, running, gaining muscle, losing fat.

You really think it might go away? Well anyway, being active helps to feel better all over, mind and body. I will need to find more balance with less driving and more physical activity.

Cellulite cannot be stopped. I mean, yeah toning might help but seriously once it hits you have it for life. Unless you get lipo or plastic surgery what have you.
I find it helps to become familiar with your lady bumps. Stroke them. Name them.
Cellulite needs love too, you know.
