Phone Help, I am trying to get a sound file onto my phone so that I can set it as a ringtone.

I downloaded the file onto my computer and tried to email it to my phone as an attachment ([10 digit #]@vtext.com). I got it in a text message but there was no option to download the attached file. My phone isn’t a blackberry or anything that is definitely made for emails, it’s a Samsung Alias.
Any ideas as to how I can get the sound onto my phone and set it as a ringtone???

A walkthrough might also be needed.

Thanks!!!

If your computer has bluetooth just send it to the phone.

I don’t think it does.
I’ve also read that I could use a USB port connector cable but I don’t see how either end of it would fit into the phone, the slots are really tiny (one is for charging/headphones, the other for additional storage).

How could I send it in email form??

I have the same phone.
I’ve never tried sending it from email.

You have to have a Special usb cord.(buy it at a verizon store)
or just record the song to your phone(i know it’ll be poor quality)
then send it to yourself in a text message and save the sound.

or just buy it as a ringtone. it’s only a couple bucks.
