I have a HP Pavillion it originally had Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition. With 2 user accounts. Now it has Microsoft Windows Media Center with one user account and password, and my user account can’t even be applied in the margin’s. I want my own user account back to the way it was I hate using this account because I have to fish for all my stuff threw My Computer, my user account’s documents, etc. Not that it isn’t a problem its just I want to have my account so know one will complain on behalf of what I do on this account with torrentz and school work. Shared with the other files and documents the family uses, all on one account. I attempted to go threw setup once you reboot the system but no luck. Whats the actual procedure to switch it back to Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition with my account valid on the menu screen?

Did u uninstall windows xp home addition? Or did someone else? If you don’t know try reinstalling it! If that doesn’t work call ur local best buy geek sqaud. They can help but don’t let them make a visit otherwise u will have to pay them. Lol keep me updated on how it goes!

media center and home have the exact same login procedure, all media center is is xp pro with the microsoft plus! applications… once youve reinstalled windows the user accounts are deleted, u simply have to remake you account
