im not American or Dutch but wasn’t it New York? I might be wrong… but something tells me that it is NY, I heard it somewhere… if you go on Wikipedia it should tell you

I think that’s right…I think NY was called New Amsterdam at one point, but I’m not sure when or why the change occurred…probably something to do with the British taking control
