I was written up at work because I had a bad day last Thursday.

I suspected that I would be but didn’t know for sure until today. Thursday sucked so bad and I know it was partly because I was stressed but it was also because there was no teamwork what-so-ever. I needed help and didn’t get any and now I am written up because of it. Fortunately, I’m not going to be suspended but still it sucks to be written up. The good news in all of this is that I took the weekend and spent time with my boyfriend.

First of all. When you go to work, you should never let anyone see you sweat. What I mean by that is you should always be in control of yourself. Everyone has a bad day now and then, we know that, but when you’re in a work environment, the boss doesn’t care about your personal life. Any business is in business for one reason and that is to make money. You may not want to hear all this, but I couldn’t help but answer this. I am in sales and when I’m at work, it’s showtime! Doesn’t matter what is going on in my life, and if someone is doing something that is not related to work, it is none of my business. Remember, the least you say, the better off you are. The less you know (about fellow employees’) the better off you are. If you want to go further in your business or career, the best thing to do is . . . your best. Hope this helped. Also, a good thing to do is apologize to your boss for your conduct and mention that it will never happen again. Makes you look good on paper.

I know this is hard to believe but my boss does care about what is going on with me. It pays for them to be interested in us. They don’t know everything but they know enough. The main reason I posted anything about it was because I was venting. But thanks for the reply.
