no no…
the whole video and audio is on my laptop.
but i want the desktop speakers to play the video.
some thing like the remote desktop feature…

ohhh idk if thats possible other than remote desktop, and whether or not it transmitts audio is my guess, why don’t you just plug the speakers up to thee lapop directly?

because the desktop speakers are wired to the soundcard and cant be disconnected easily…

does the sound card have an external usb or firewire input? maybe u could digitaly conect the laptop to it.idk of any software that does that

there is one software for that..tonecast..
but it is causing a time lag…not good.
and i want it done over the wLan…

idk then, only other option is conect it up analog and that would defeat the pourpose of the good speakers i’m sure, plus you wanrt the processing done by the desk soundcard
