my brother in law was shot last night in the chest and died this morning.

I am left to tell my boy friend the news and dont know how.. Im not really sure that I can..

I feel awful for your loss. I have prayed for you and all your family.
It is so hard to tell loved ones about this type of shocking loss.
Your boyfriend would prefer to hear it from someone he loves, so it is more personal and he will feel able to show emotion.
I am sure that your boyfriend would prefer to know as soon as, so he can see the body as soon as. Sorry for bluntness.
Approach him gently and allow him to see exactly how upset you are about it too. Have him sitting down too, as I know that someone I had to break bad news to fainted.
