I need some techie help!

!!!!

ok, so i’m a gamer who has multiple systems, and through the passage of time, the video input thinger on my tv broke, so it doesn’t work anymore. So I hooked up an rf modulator to play games with and watch movies with, but theres a problem with that too. The plug in for it gets really hot after only a short time of use, and i don’t want it to overheat or anything so i have to stop early. So my solution to that problem was to try and hook my systems up through a dvd player. We have the cables hooked up and it’s plugged in so that i can watch tv with it, but we can’t get the video to show up at all. So is there anyway to get the video to show up without having to hook those yellow and white cords to my tv? (which i can’t do.) And i know this is a hard request but try not to use huge language, i’m a gamer but i’m not really a techie.

Just buy a tv tuner card and you will be able to hook your tv to your pc. Hope this helps :-)
