Lovers and Friends..

Please help i need suggestions on this issue.. I was in a situation where i had a friends with benefits, but that is very different from this one.. I used to go out with this guys for a few months and we decided to be friends for now, because he has a lot that he needs to take care of as well as deal within himself before he can have a relationship with someone.. we both have love for each other and his fam loves me and my fam loves him 2..

so, the break up was kind of hard.. he has said that he doesn’t wanna talk to other girls while were on the break, but he still wants to hang out and stuff like when we were together.. which is fine with me, but at the sametime.. i don’t wanna get back into the habit and do things that we did while we were together..

so with all that being said my question is do you think it will be possible to still be lovers and friends at the sametime without it causing a conflit, since both him and i do not want to see other people, because we wanna still be with each other after he deals with his issues.. thnx :)

I still love my ex-gf but I am friends with her now, per her highness’ request.. I don’t believes she loves me, probably baring liking me, but the problem with being friends for long is, if you don’t communicate the love, sooner or later one of you may feel that the other one is no longer in love and gets ready to move on.. it’s a fine line to walk and may, and I repeat, may not be reversible.

Yes! you can definitely still be lovers and friends!
BUT….
On your break…you two must physically act like friends. Trust me, if you start getting physical again on your break whats the point of the break?

From what you say it seems you two really care for one another, and that being said, you respect each other dont you? I know that sometimes “things just happen” and thats okay, no one is perfect but on your break you probably shouldnt get physical. You can still love each other though, and show each other you care by just being there for each other. To show you care you need to stick by him and support him since he needs to deal with stuff. To show he loves you he needs to stick to his word that he wont talk to other girls. I wish the two of you the best of luck in your relationship. I know breaks can be hard but the strongest couples can get through it. take care!

P.s. be true and honest with each other, this goes for him too!

Sweet I was in the exact situation and i know how much it means to be so involved with someone and deciding to rather become friends than the synario you had. Sometimes it’s for the best, if you think that something can come out of the whole dilemma i think you both owe it to yourself to try working things out. He might trully be the one, and if you have doubts about what’s going on between the two of you follow your heart and not your head…. believe me I know,..

Wait for hem to sort himself out, rather late than never right.
