Our cat just died and we want to get a new cat but we live right by a main road and if we left it out it would definately get killed.

The only reason our old cat was okay was because when we moved there there was only fields around our house and he got used to it slowly being developed. It would just kill my dad if something happened to the new cat aswell… Has anyone any tips for training a cat to stay inside? Or would it just be cruel to buy one and not let it roam free?

Start it inside and it will stay inside.

I have outside cats. We call them either quick or the dead.

I want to get a cat and there is a cat re-homing thing near our house but we live on a main road too. It’s really annoying so i know how you feel.
