Open my computer and go to

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

double click “hosts” (the first one, usually)
and open it with notepad

“127.0.0.1 — localhost”

should be the last line.. Is there anything else after it?

Another suggestion..

click start –> run, or Windows Key + R
and type in iexplore.exe

This will open internet explorer.
can you view pages there?
