The sentence does not make much sense lol
Whats the “d” in between the spaces?

If you were to write the whole thing in present form, it would be:

“El es joven y muy activo”.

Where “El” would be the pronoun for Federico.
………

If its only the word in parenthesis (”ser”) that you have to change to present form, then it would be:

“Federico es joven y activo”.

Is “activo” what you mean by “acivo”? I have never heard of “acivo” before.
=S

=D

i suck at it.

You were actually right on the “Fedrico would be under “he” or “el””.

So I would think you do know something.

we went over ser the first thing in 7th grade…so I better..haha It took me forever though and I had to write a poem to remember haha

=O
hahaha I just imagined you writing a poem and all to help out, thats actually considerate from your part…btw, another thing I noticed was that you were also right on what you said in the:

“ser = to be

i (yo) = soy
you (tu) = eres
she/he (el, ella, usted) = es
we (nosotros) = somos
they (ellos, ellas, ustedes) = son”

So again, you do know. =P

one thing that always gets me is estar. because that means “to be” as well, except one uses that in different circumstances. like as in temperary location or expressing emotion…yo estoy tranquilo, for example.

Yup. Spanish is tricky, I say its harder to learn spanish than to learn english.

hmmm….

Would you know an example where you would have to use “estar”?

Well, if I had to learn another language I would most likely struggle with it too, so thats OK.
Was it because of the Spanish class homeworks or the tests?

Raining…did we just “highjack” this thread?

Use the verb ’ser’ to describe people, like personality traits and appearance.

Federico es joven y muy activo.
