Hello there, I was wondering:

I was thinking to open a business account on Paypal because I buy and sell on ebay and elsewhere.
However, I do not actually own a legally recognized/tax certified business. Is this an issue, or does “business” on paypal just refer to buying and selling on the internet?

OP here: A note, I mostly want to have a Business account so as to have a Business name to deal under and not my personal name, which makes me nervous.

If you are doing anything that is making you an income, you need to declare this income to the tax office if you live in the UK or USA
