Love help: My boyfriend recently broke up with me. - Help.com

My boyfriend recently broke up with me.

We were so much in love but his parents and family came in the way. They did not accept me because I am not the same colour or religion as him. I truly felt like he was my soul mate and he felt the same. It’s been 4 months already and I cry every day…what do I do to get over the biggest rejection of my life?

well first thing im sorry that u have to go thru that situation. i know getting ur heart stomped on sucks.. what worked for me is having friends. i went out and did things i loved to do befor i was with that person.. plan out fun trips or just lil nights to go out and just have fun.. that u have something to look forward to doing and keeps your mind off him.

of coarse alot of people rely on the quik rebound hook up. there is a chance that you’ll get over him for the moment.. but i dont suggest it cause chances are when u do “hook up” with a random person you’ll relize its not the person thats really on your mind and it will make u more upset.
but it doesnt hurt to get out there and meet new people. especially guys. not necessarly to hook up with but to make new friends and meet new people. with meeting new people maybe that will give you a chance to not think about your ex as much.. well i hope gave u a couple ideas, and hope everything works out for u..

famous qoute~ “a broken heart still beats the same”

I dont know what to tell you i know i am still mornuing the loss of my last gf and i am failing at it. Here are a few things however that stop me from blowing my brains out.
Working out, the adrenaline feels good and you feel a bit better about yourself after it.
Getting a new hobbie, It helps you to not think about the broken ’soul mate’
Talking to friends, they can help, if your like me you cant do this so repeat #1 & #2.

Btw theres no such thing as soul mates, its just another way of saying compatibility. There are millions of people out there your compatible with, that deserve you, for you and not your color or religion, or anything else for that matter, Just you.

Check out this great video — this woman was dumped and depressed (you won’t believe it, it’s brutal) and then met her husband two weeks later. http://lisadaily.com/datingexperttv/2…
