Sounds like you’re in one of your eclectic mood phases. Do you think hypomania helps or hinders you?

ive never heard of an eclectic mood phase. Its been going on and off for a year a few months at a time. I think it helps and hinders. First because its new to me it changed me for the better just more hyper than usual and the norm. but the racing thoughts exhaust me. I have been doing yoga for 12 yrs I know how to meditate but lately for a yr I just cant focus enough to do it. so yoga and flute playing are my alternative. But i still cant stop my mind..

Well, now you understand what you have. It’s now your opportunity to address what you can do to improve yourself. Just try your best and don’t allow your diagnosis to be used as an excuse.

why did you choose to use the word eclectic mood phase? i dont want it as an excuse I didnt even understand that anything was out of place until i ended up in a mental ward. I haventbeen the same since. I am still in counselling but they barely understand it here.
