computer problem,

on my dell inspiron b130 (3 years old) i downloaded update but now when i reboot i get the blue screen of death i tried everything, i ran diagnostics, wont let me boot in safe mode or any of the others i went thru bios and reset everything but now i am just stuck what could it be?!

under start > help > select restore> try an earlier date that should be in bold. If it doesn’t work try another. If it still doesn’t work reinstall windows from the original disk select f8 and then select repair or reinstall existing operating system don’t select new install or reformat. The idea is to use existing registry so you don’t have to reinstall all your programs. If that doesn’t work reinstall new xp or vista and then reinstall the programs you need.

Try restoring your windows to last known best configuration you can do so my selecting f8 while the computer boots.
