Is it Gianni Versace or not?

Hey guys, I’m back again with a question. I purchased a dress second hand, and I noticed before I bought the dress that the label said Gianni Versace Couture. But now, I don’t know if it’s genuine or not. The label is black with white text and gold accents, the font is exactly the same as other Gianni Versace labels I have found, but I’m still suspicious.

The dress is mid-calf length, black with silver pinstripes about 2 inches apart. It has a piece of fabric attached to the back that is designed to come around the neck like a shawl. The body is 100% wool, and the lining is 100% rayon.

Any suggestions? I can’t post pics, my camera died… sorry…

As long as you like it, it doesn’t matter if it is fake or genuine. Just wear it and enjoy :)

True I love the dress, and I plan to wear it at least once, but if it were genuine, I thought I might sell it to help pay for college later.

Real or not, I don’t think a dress will pay for college. Don’t sell it..wear it :)

Hmm, true. However, I would still like to know. I would love it all the same if it weren’t a designer. None of my other dresses are designer. Just curious.

Perhaps you can search for it online then. I’m sure you could look up the designer and see if it was something made by them. If you have no luck with that, you could try taking it to a store that sells Gianni Versace and ask them. Just a thought :)

Or even better, do no such searching and just believe the label and enjoy your “Designer” dress. I wont tell if you don’t :)

I’ve done some searching and come up with zip. I’ve thought of calling them though, or going to a store. It never hurts to try.
