Love help: Years ago, you gave me my first kiss. - Help.com

Years ago, you gave me my first kiss.

I liked you, but I knew you didn’t like me.
I wanted you to kiss me again.
So I said, “Teach me how to kiss.”
And you fell for it, and you taught me how to kiss.
And at first, I thought, “Kissing is overrated.”
And then it started to feel absolutely wonderful, and I could feel myself falling for you deeper and deeper…
And that feeling was dangerous.
So I stopped it.

I don’t want to tell you this, but even though we’re in love now, and I have no reason to stop that feeling… I can’t get it back.

All I feel when your lips touch mine is… your lips.

That’s the reason I kiss you so often. I’m hoping that feeling will return.

What if it never does?

You’re in love. Enjoy the person then, I’d say. The feeling was just a feeling, and feelings do come and go. As long as the love is there, don’t worry. And as long as you’re not confusing that ‘feeling’ for love.. My opinion.

If its not there it isn’t there. He should know how you feel. You should talk to him about it. Who knows he may feel the same way. To me when a kiss is just a kiss there is something wrong. Something isn’t right.
