landed wrong on the trampoline.

i landed on my neck doing a flip when somebody double bounced me and my body folded in half. i couldnt walk, run, jump, or bend over for a while. that was yesterday and now i cant run, jump, bend, or sleep on my side. i have bad pain in my lower back and neck, mostly on the right side. it also hurts to sleep on my back. Any ideas on whether of not i should get it checked out? my mom says i will be fine but it has been almost 24 hours and it hurts like hell.
PS, i am 14 if that helps

Ouch. Yup, done that a thousand times. I’ve never gone to the doctor for it, but the worst one I did I couldn’t walk for a week. Injuries like that take time to heal. Don’t worry about it, and be careful. :P
Are you a guy or a girl, if you don’t mind my asking. And what kind of flip were you doing?

go see a doctor. for temporary relief take an asprin (non drowzy if it hurts to sleep on your side cause believe me, you’ll roll) and there’s also this cream called theralgesic. I say get some of that and rub it where it hurts. but DEFINETLY see the doc

Ah, so you weren’t trying anything big or really high, you just got unlucky. :P
I don’t think you’ll need a doctor, as much as it may hurt. You may want to slap your friend for bouncing you though, that sometimes helps.
Oh, and doing flips off of your knees is sketchy, I would recommend either staying on your feet, or at least using your hands too.

you may have done it a thousand times but unless you are an orthopedist you wouldnt know how serious it could be..
sometimes people underestimate injuries simply because it seems ok.. which can have bad consequences…

its just better to be safe..
any doctor will tell you that if you are in doubt its better to get it checked..

If you really want to go to a doctor, there is nobody stopping you. From experience, I know they are a large hassle, and usually all they do is give you some Ibuprofen and tell you to be careful. Then, they charge you an enormous bill.
I actually do know these type of injuries quite well. It’s basically pulling a muscle. Sure, it hurts like no other for a little while, but the pain eventually goes away and you are fine again.
Make sure to gently stretch it everyday, and you’ll be fine in no time.

eh, I have an ametuer (or however you spell it :P) knowledge of stuff like that. I just know that asprin heals pain, and I’ve used theralgesic on my knees before which helps the pain. Also I know that neck and back injuries can be VERY dangerous
