I’m trying to make a cd that will play on a stereo/boombox.

The files are mp3, and they wont play on a stereo, so i am trying to find a format that it can play. What format does stereos play?

If you got a CD burning program then just “make audio CD” in the progrma and would work.
IF you have CD player that plays MP3’s then Windows Media or Real Player will help make CD’s for that.

if your using the windows burner you have to do it through media player

well stereos play PCM (uncompressed) cds.
if the files are mp3 they won’t work.
have to make it audio cd
