Is something wrong with living in a small town and not liking most of the people?

I cant get myself to like people who get stoned all day or dress badly..Like hippy cloths turn me off and i feel like i am judging all these people who dont have the same values as me.. Someone said to me yesterday that i dont like anybody in this town, and in some ways this person is right.. I am very different.. I just dont feel comfortable with drug users… i dont think i am better but they make me feel uncomfortable.. am i wrong to feel this way? I would like to be able to have close friends but I dont feel connected to anyone in my town…

No. Not liking people who do drugs is normal. I don’t like people who do drugs. Dressing differently than you is a different story. Everyone dresses so that they are comfortable. Some people might look at you and not like a few things about you. You might want to try to get to know some of these people before you judge them. they might be wonderful people.

Its quite normal to grow apart from the people with whom you have grown up amongst. Have you thought about moving away and making your own way in the world.
That way you will start to look at your home town in a completely different light each time you go home to visit.
Its basically boredom with the familiar.
