from coming on to this site people rarely help others with school problems “you should learn it yourself” is what alot of people say.

so… you have to write something about a block of homes/flats? honestly, just google it… that would be your best bet.

if you have to write a paper about it surely the teacher gave some insight on what it is you’re writing about……..were you just lazy and not listen?

LAMO oooh okay.
i am amusing it’s for collage then? because you know the pliers in Rome? yeah my boyfriend had to right a whole 2000 page essay on one plier alone……. but he did it and really well.

best thing to do is sit back and try to find something interesting, look at the colors and setting and placement and try to work from there?

Don’t listen to these uneducated people.. Armond attempted to make himself sound so intelligent, but he doesn’t even know how to spell college… hahaha.. collage…

No gifts obviously has never attended a university either.. Anyway.. My name is Rick… I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in International Affairs and Administration…

Before I can give you substantial advice you need to explain what type of assignment it is.. and what class it is for…No gifts provided a very basic format for a purely descriptive essay. This type of essay would only be assigned in an English 101 class or high school.

So let me know what class it is for and what type of assignment it is exactly. The only help I can give now is to provide the basic essay format…………………………………….

Think of an essay in turns of format.. Once you design your overall design.. it is easy to fill in the pieces….

The best way to approach most essay assignments is to envision it in five parts. An essay is made up of the Introduction, Three main points (the body), and the Conclusion. So it looks like this:

I. Introduction
II. Point One
III. Point Two
IV. Point Three
V. Conclusion

The most important part of any essay is the introduction…

An Introduction should answer three questions
1. What am I talking about in this paper?
2. How am I going to talk about it?
3. What am I going to prove in this paper?

In other words ………….. 1. Attention Getter 2.Essay Map 3. Thesis Statement
Your thesis statement should describe in one sentence what the overall point of the essay is.

A solid thesis statement might be… “The block of flats located at 21st and 4th street contain aspects from all three major architectural styles commonly observed in Saint Louis, Missouri. “

Here is the overall plan..
I. Introduction
A. Subject
B. Main Points
C. THESIS
II. Point One
A. Intro and explanation of point
B. Evidence
C. How point relates to thesis
III. Point Two
A. Intro and explanation of point
B. Evidence
C. How point relates to thesis
IV. Point Three
A. Intro and explanation of point
B. Evidence
C. How point relates to thesis
V. Conclusion
A. Restate subject
B. Summarize Main Points
C. Restate THESIS
(B and C can be combined into the proof)

Good luck.. I reread the post and think that this is a descriptive paper.. If so focus on details.. The texture of the building materials.. the colors.. the smells.. the location.. the perception.. how the buildings design relates to its surroundings.. how the building makes you feel… does the building look different at different times of the day… hwo was it constructed..

JUST MAKE SURE THAT YOU DONT MENTION TOO MUCH ABOUT ITS HISTORY, LOCATION, INHABITANTS, ETC..

A good way of thinking about a descriptive essay is imagine that you are describing it to a blind person..

THE GOLDEN RULE OF DESCRIPTIVE WORKS ARE DETAILS DETAILS DETAILS..!!!!!!
