Your attention please.

This presentation is the orientation of the Zeitgeist Movement activist group. It’s a very informative session that I suggest all of you watch. I’m sure that many of you will already appreciate much of the information herein. Albeit, the presentation is designed to be watched in it’s entirety to promote a well founded conclusion. So, it is my suggestion you watch all or most of the presentation.

However, I am unsure of the correctness of the conclusion provided. I hope to have a full and lucid conversation about the quality of the ideas presented, as it is my hope to be a part of the progress of human society as a whole, a value of mine.

Simply enter the website, scroll down, and there should be an orientation video. Thank you for your time.

I haven’t watched Zeitgeist (the film) yet, but I’ve been told I must.

When I do, I’ll come back to this and maybe we will chat.

This presentation is very different from the film. This presentation is far more truthful.

Ha ha, I’m glad you enjoy such things.

Is there anything you want to talk about from the presentation?

I found the concept of delegating decisions to technology a little unnerving. Though I do see the logic and rationality of it.

I just want to maintain that people have to still be at the core of our goals, values and decision making. I wouldn’t mind giving some decisions to super-computers. But we can’t allow law making to be decided by machines, alone or authoritatively. Super-Computers have the potential to be more corrupt than human beings. As their minds are written, not pre-determined.

It took a looong time to watch..

The idea is nothing new. I´ve been thinking like that for years. I´m missing the solutions of transformation into this “utopia”…

There’s a community online that’s trying to determine just that. There is no real leader as far as I know. But there are project teams, for different locations and fields of expertise. You could join one and offer your own ideas.

I think that there is no way to start a transformation of our system. It really is fundamentally and inherently counter productive and thus, corrupt. And even worse, I can see no way of convincing the majority of the public how true this really is.

So, the idea of abandoning the current system, and building a self sustaining sounds very appealing, if done properly. For now, there is no or little action being done. The highest priority of TZM right now is gaining public opinion. This way, if we do achieve a large scale sustainable society, the public would look down upon having the government, corporations take it apart.

You need the whole world to get a long with this. Not just a large group of people. I see no possible solution to this dilemma. There has to be made a proven city. Like a pilot project to show it in reality. Such ideas will never shake the roots of mankind enough.

That’s pretty much the plan Grim.

They just need enough supporters for the government to think twice about shutting them down.

There’s a couple hundred thousand “members” on the site. Including me. But I’m not sure I’m actually going to do anything for them yet. However, I do support them socially. I suppose that counts for something.

I’m also not sure what their goal number of supporters really is. There’s a lot of posts and forums I haven’t read.
