I Have been married twice, and both times I changed my name. With my first marriage I hyphenated my madien and married name. These days it’s a matter of personal choice, and there’s no time limit-so one can change name at later date. However post 9/11 measures make it necessary to provide more documentation if you change name later-so it’s easier if u do it at time of marriage.

Well My boyfirend has the same last name as my mothers maiden name. So I guess if we did get married I wouldn’t have a problem with it.

yeah i’d change it but i’d also want to keep my maiden name so i guess i’d join them. though not if his was really stupid!
