Any idea why I can’t change my avatar?

I’ve tried uploading so many different pictures, and I’ve tried putting in the URL of the picturs I want and I’ve even tried to use the Search option to choose from some of the webshots they have but NOTHING WORKS. I just wanna get rid of this ‘S’ as my avatar because it’s so BORING.
Help? =D Pretty please? =D Pretty please with a cherry on top? =D

i want to know the answer to this one also. i have cleared my Temporary Internet Files,Cookies, signed out and signed in and tried again and i am having the same problem. i also tried using a file in the dimensions suggested. no good. this is a technical issue with Help.com.

The “info” is that the site (Help.com) is having technical problems. So no one can change their avatars until they’ve fixed it. But when they’ve fixed it, I’ll come back to this post and let you know. But as Dr.Ralph said above, that may not be any time soon. Bummer, I know.

Nope, I’ve used pictures that are smaller than the required size. I think 256×256 or something. But, anyway, it’s definitely got nothing to do with size.

It does not work. It hasn’t worked in quit some time. Talk to the mods… there have been posts about this for months.

OK. the avatar thing is broken. noones going to fix it. noone will be learning how to do it because it wont be done. so get used to what youve got. cus until we get an admin (which probably wont be for a long time) the avvies are staying as they are.
