What should a maximum age difference be?
I am 17 and I want to know what would be an OK age difference. Both ways, older and younger.

I don’t believe people can put a set age difference between something, because it simply is what it is.
I’m almost 16, and my boyfriend recently turned 20.
I don’t see any problem with it and no one I know does either. My family loves him and thing couldn’t be any better. I can honestly say I want to spend the rest of my life with him.
Will there be doubters ? Of course, there always will be. But that goes to show how far you’ll go for a relationship.
I’ve been called names, and so has he, but they dont face me because I know what’s right and what’s wrong.
Therefore, if you like someone who’s 2, 3, 4, or 5 years different from you, it really doesn’t matter.
Because in the end, all that matters is that you’re happy and so is your significant other.
And when you’re truly happy is when you can ignore the unpleasant names, or ignore the rude remarks, because you’ll realize none of that matters. You won’t know those people years from now, so why should their opinions matter ?
Sorry about that little rant xD
I hope that helped :)
well i personally think 17 is a little young for any sort of dating unless its another 17 year old. but that is just me.
18-25 is decent.
18-35 can have bumps.
18-45 unless you have a really great connection it can be awkward.
18-55 then you just have to deal with too many judgements.
18-65 golddigging
18-75 waiting for inheritance
18-85 gross
i was 25 when i dated my boyfriend of four years who was 43 - it was good a lot of the time but it isolated me from my own age group a lot. i felt alone. and we had many differences just based on the eras we grew up in. it was fun but i knew it wouldn’t be forever.
it is fun to live… just don’t get too carried away.
keep your wits about you and don’t get taken advantage of.
and try to stay away from the married ones. :P
So long as the two people are over 16 then any mix of ages is all good so long as you are both ok with it yourselves.

I rephrased it and took it as my own… Oh look a squirrel! *runs away*
well it depenssee how young you are :)once you’re over 16 its quiet relaxed, onceover 18 it doesn’t matter
I would think so, unless you’re uncomfortable with it. You’re both legally adults.

What if the girl is the 21/22 year old? Does it matter if a girl is older than the guy?

Nope, age shouldn’t matter if you like each other

It doesn’t matter to me. I dated a girl who was a few years older than me.

Totally fine. Once legal, it’s just about what works and if your emotional maturities fit. 3 years is nothing.
