I want to know if this guy who is 30 years old is serious about me.

I am 20 years old and have known this man for about a month and a half. The first time I went out with him he was very sweet and kind. He took me to a coffee shop and paid for my coffee, we then and sat by the water and talked about things, after he took me up to his apartment however, rest assured nothing happened. He was a perfect gentlemen. Later that day he invited me out to dinner with his mom. His mother had to join us because they were both travelling somewhere the next day so she had to spend the night in his apartment. We then go to a very fancy restaurant where the check came out to $130. I told him that I wanted to pay a little and he said if you want to only $20 or $30 dollars. BUT instead I paid $50 which should have covered my meal, some tip, and that coffee earier..

On our second date he invited me to meet his family for the 4th of July. I only stayed a little bit and then had to leave.

The third time I saw him we met for coffee for 20 min and then he had to leave. So the times that I went out with him he NEVER tried to romantically kiss me. He kissed me several times on my cheek, gave me warm hugs, and gave me short goodbye kisses on my lips.

BUT I know that he likes to drink beer a lot and I know that he did date a lot of girls in college. He said that he thought he was going to marry some of the girls because they were together for more than a year or so.

So far I do not think he is a bad guy. I just don’t want to get hurt! I do not want to be just another girl added to his collection.

1)he is a player if he told u about thoes girls in college i mean why would he say that u should tell him”leave the past behind and move on”and tell him just cause u was with a girl for so long dont mean there gettin married it just they need love to prove show strong that is for anything to happen

I think he is being honest with you by telling you about his past. I also think that he is taking things slow for a reason. The reason is that he is not looking for another girl to add to his collection, rather something more than a notch in his belt. He is taking it slow and you should do the same. If you dont see anything wrong with him other than him not trying to put the moves on, whats the problem? Take it slow and see where it goes. When your at the age he is and you already met his family, sounds like he really wants to take it slow and not ruin a potentially good thing.

You’ll never know what someone is thinking unless you ask. Don’t let yourself get wrapped up, you have to balance what you see and hear, actions and words, and make a judgement. Tell him what your interest in him is and if he cant reciprocate then you move on. Just realize that nothing in life is full proof, we’re all susceptible to being hurt.
