court help: Ok there was some kind of thing and my brother was sent to jail - Help.com

Ok there was some kind of thing and my brother was

sent to jail for a few days, When he got out he went on trial and had to pay someone back money In small payments. But just yesterday there was a second and that person wanted the money all at once $700. Can this happen even tho there was a court meeting to have the payments instead of all at once? or should we try for a Retrial? If we go for that we need something to go with.

Please help any way you think you can

No. If there was a stipulation by the court order, your brother cannot forced to pay all the money at once. If the person to whom the money is owed, agreed to that stipulation, then it’s binding on them. Unless your brother stops agreed payments then the court can order him to pay all at once.

Maybe i missed something Did i tell you that there was a court meeting that says my brother pays the money in payments, But then there was a second one to pay it all at once. But the first one says to make payments so were all confused as hell.

I wasn’t there when the court but the first one said its in payments, But the one yesterday said all at once. And that messed up everything and were falling apart now!
