Question for people with asthma?

Honestly if your having trouble breathing in the house like that, the best thing you could do would be to wake someone up so they could help you. Other than that opening a window or going outside for fresh air might help, but it’d be much better if you were to wake someone up and help you

Get a brown paper bag (or any other bag) and put it around your mouth and just breathe

please dont follow this advice, this is used for anxiety and panic attacks, a completely different situation to asthma, you need to open your airways to allow as much oxygen as possible through
sit upright , bend your knees upwards and rest your head on your knees
please wake someone up though, asthma is an urgent condition and your family would rather be woken now than to wake in the morning to a worsening condition

asthma is a life threatening condition, you can not take a random punt at the answer , in which case had the person followed your advice they would be getting even less oxygen when theyre already fighting for air, please check you facts, its one thing to have an opinion when someone is seeking help, but when it is something that can be life threatening you cant take a random punt, you could seriously hurt someone
