i don’t think that’s a real reason to hate yourself. there are many people of color to admire these days as there were many in the past. try not to see the color as much as the character and attributes and follow them instead.

I hate that my hair is thinning in the back, and that my teeth aren’t perfectly straight, and that I can’t see without contacts, and that my hair has turned gray on the sides, and that I’m not tall. But what’s on the outside isn’t going to make me hate myself or give up on my dreams. Don’t give up on yours either. You want to act? Disney Channel isn’t the only place to do that. Happiness starts with being comfortable with who you are, with loving yourself. And your “self” isn’t on the outside.

Black skin is so beautiful!!!!! The way black people are oftentimes treated is not :( but there is nothing wrong with you. You are so wonderful and beautiful just the way you are :D it’s those idiotic racists that are the real problem, not you.

I came to this site because I’m feeling the same way (feeling outcast because of my race, not the whole disney thing) but I realize that I shouldn’t hate myself because of it. Only the racist people will judge me like that and because those people may affect our love life or job opportunities we may find it hard to do what we truly want to but we’ve made it through worse in the past and things like that won’t stop us. Even if you don’t get to do what you want to do in the end I promise you’ll find something just as good or better.

You shouldnt hate your race im black too And look at all the black hollywood stars and selena gomez and demi lovato didnt start on disney channel and you dont have to start their either they were first seen on barney try doing small things to put on you resume or go to casting sites to find auditions just for you
