trouble help: Ok so I have a question. - Help.com

Ok so I have a question.

today i was at a cvs parking lot and my friend overdosed it my car. my other friend is very familiar with what to do so he got me to calm down and tried to get him to wake up. after about 15 minutes we decided it was time to call the ambulance or our friend could die. so we called and told them it was an overdose and they sent ppl over. we obviously did not want trouble and we did have drugs on us but we had to make sure our friend didnt die. after we called our friend popped out of it and got up. so once we knew he was alright, we decided to avoid the trouble and bounce. we got out before the ambulance came and then they called back and ******* us out saying we needed him to get attention but we told them we didnt want any trouble and he was fine and eventually the lady said ok and hung up.
Now last week my friend had his phone stolen at a party around 1230 am. he then told me his father got a call the next day saying that a call was made to 911 from my friends phone at 142 am. Now my friend is a chronic liar so i am not sure if he was lying or not. (not that there was any reason to lie lol)
But anyway, my question is, if your cell phone is under ur parents name, would 911 call them and let them know that there was a call made to 911 from one of the phones on the account? Should i be worried about trying to explain this to my parents in the morning? if anyone knows and could let me know that would be great. im trying not to trip out but i am slightly worried. anyways, any help would be super greatly appreciated! thanks!!!

Yep they can. You can get prosecuted for that stuff. I have a friend who had a young child who kept using the phone to dial 999 when no one was looking and the police came round and slapped a fine on them.

I’d just wait and see, don’t worry about it
