Are 4″ heels a really bad idea if I’m going to be on my feet pretty much all day?

It’s possible I’ll be walking around for up to 7 or 8 hours. They’re knee-high boots so my ankles will be supported, but I never wear heels normally so I’m dubious.

If they are a bad idea, does anyone know where I’ll find red knee-high (or calf-high if it comes down to that) boots with lower than 4″ heels and non-pointed toes for a reasonable price? :P

Yeah sure, shoe mart is around 5 minutes away from my house you can get them for around 30 euro (I don’t know where you’re from so i can’t tell you lol)

So far I’ve kind of been going, “Ok, I’ll know it when I see it.” Um… well, the reason I asked about 4″ heels was because I was looking at these boots:

I need knee-high red boots to wear with a costume I’m putting together, which will basically be a red evening dress in a style that falls somewhere between steampunk and renaissance.

Man no wonder I can’t find anything I like, lol.

I saw something like that but not less then 4″ and i don’t think you’re going to find. What you can do, is get those boots and practice walking in them (whole days) even when you’re at home. Spend as much time as you can in them.
