Guitars?

I have this Guitar that was given to me by my grandpa about a year ago. I never really acknowledged it or anything. Well I did the first 5 months, and then I stopped, because i suck at it xD
I was told by my mom that it’s an electric guitar, but I’m not so sure. Here’s a picture of it, can you tell me what kind it is please.
