Possibilities are infinite.
What do you think about that?
“At any point in time, life presents an array of infinite possibilities. When you make a decision as to what to do next, then - only then - does your immediate future become a reality instead of just
another possibility. Then, and only then, does the next step in your history get written. ” - Owen Waters
This sounds exciting. What do you think?

I’d like to discuss with someone who’s maybe as excited about it as I am!

That’s lovely! I’ll keep that in mind next time I’m too afraid to take the next step :)

I hope so! Risks are where its at.
How do we know which choices to make, how do we know if its best to go with ‘better the devil you know’ or go with ‘nothing ventured, nothing gained’?

You read the signs and use your better judgment. Surely you have ways of deciding things - use the most appropriate way! Whatever makes sense to you. Half of it is knowing that all the possibilities are out there waiting to manifest. The rest is up to you.
I opt of ‘nothing ventured, nothing gained’ because I’ve ventured and gained, and ventured and lost but I dont regret!
Explain ‘better the devil you know’ ?

My educated, well tested system for chosing where to go involves a pin, a map & a blindfold, i cant think of a better way to make a choice, that is why i am in the middle of nowhere, i dont regret it.

To stick with something that your comfortable ish with just coz your used to it but not neccessarily happy with, rather than breaking away & trying something new.

Your not wrong. It is the safer option, most ppl would do that, i have at times done that myself but normally i go for it with the something new. It doesn’t always work out so well though.

That’s half the fun!
Yea & half the missery!! I could change, but i think id always feel like id missed out on something.
I live my life by ‘ id rather regret something ive done than regret something ive not done’ its better to regret doing it than always wonder ‘what if’

So true, the best times of my life I’ve had doing things I wasn’t sure I could do; taking the risk and yes, failing miserably too.. it has brought me to where I am today.
I have regrets, things I want to be forgiven for: but in the end life continues.
I’m liking the idea of being in one point in space/time and reflecting on how things can change in a positive sense; instead of seeing it as a risk it becomes a oppertunity. That’s always a good thing IMHO.
What’s IMHO mean?
Being human is difficult, man. And awesome.

I kinda like the feeling of being in complete control of my life by doing things on a whim. Now ive wrote it down it doesnt seem to make as much sense as it did in my head!
I guess i still haven’t found what im looking for.
I dont find this lifestyle as easy now im older, i tend to think about things more, i think the next time i ’settle’ somewhere i will stay there, i think this is my last time at doing this.
I just cant find where im suposed to be & until i do i just need to keep looking.
I could stay in the place i am now but there is no work in winter, id love to stay, i feel like this is where i should be but its impossible so maybe it isnt my destiny after all.

Glad im not on my own, i normally ask ppl on here what they mean after they’ve used them.
I abreviate a fair bit in texts but not so much on the computer.

I stay away from the abbreviations. It’s bad writing practice!
May be bad writing, but I’m happy enough if I write and get myself to take the “risk” of posting my thoughts.
Well all forms of expression are welcome here.
Except hating. No hating allowed.

Yea sometimes it works well, i am kinda worried about what ill do in the winter though, this is not the best time to be looking for a new job, i dont have any choice though so im not going to drive myself mad with worry about it, worrying wont help me much.
Whatever will be will be, the futures not ours to see
