Any ideas on making friends?
Lately, I’ve been having some problems making goods friends after moving from one country to another. So, I was hoping that you lovely people could give me some ideas.
Eg: How you met your best friend(s) and how you became friends
and ideas/pointers on How to start a friendly conversation with someone
Any and all advice is appreciated! Thanks! =D

Oh, I finally get it! lol
I think my problem is more sort of getting the chance to be a friend. I don’t really speak to too many people and so I’m kinda looking for ideas on starting friendly conversations.

Thanks for the tip! I might look into something like that.
im kinda shy so i tend to have a hard time talking to people.it took awhile for me to open up.at first i would just talk to people about work and we slowly started talking about other things.
and dont forget it will take time….no matter what you do it’ll take time

Yeah I know, its just that everyone else (at least the majority) is part of different groups of friends and i feel quite left out. They’ll be eating lunch together and what not … on the other hand, i’ll be sitting alone.
What frustrates me even more is that I’m not really used to it because I had quite a few really good friends before I moved (who I’m still friends with) and now I spend most of my time by myself.
It will take time but you will friends the friends you need and/or want.

I really hope so … Thanks for the encouragement, though!
You’re going to be just fine. Come here whenever you need to vent your frustrations on the new friends you make. We’ll be here. Even if I am not here, somebody is always minding the store.
