When Connecting to a wireless connection on a PS3.

What does it mean when it says the Obtain IP address Failed. when i had all my correct info put in and it says that “The key information exchange has timed out”?

I think that “The information exchange key has timed out” is the error message for everything involving PSP and WPA.

Try these things:

#1. Unplug power to the wireless router or wireless access point (WAP) and turn off the PSP. Then turn on the wireless access point, wait 30 seconds, then turn on the PSP.
#2. Change both the PSP and WPA to only letters and numbers (no special characters or whitespace) … then repeat step #1.
