I have a touch of brain damage from when i was a baby…

but luckily it doesn’t affect much except my memory. I’ve just about gotten sick of my constant forgetting important things for months at a time, and so having to deal with the horrible consequences. Like forgetting to take my medicine, or to pay bills. I was just wondering does anyone have any suggestions for helping me remember things? I don’t have alot of money… so i was thinking maybe a little notebook? Or a billboard in my kitchen that I’ve to check everyday? I forget most of my life aswell… so I’d have to put little things about that in there too. Not just daily chores etc.
What would you use?

I have a calendar on my wall in the kitchen and write stuff on that - things like ‘remember to pay the credit card’, ‘car MOT due this month’, birthdays, etc. Alternatively, it might be worth looking at an electronic solution (PDA, diary system on your PC (like the one built in to Outlook)) so that you get an automated reminder without having the remember to check stuff.

Personally, I’d use a diary to record the important things, so that I had a more permanent record of them.

A board in the kitchen is a really good idea, and so is the calendar. I would use both.

Post-it notes, put them somewhere where you know you’re gonna see it. Like the fridge.
