I need help with my running.

So, I’m in color guard and winter guard. We are the best in the state as said by competitions. We work out quite a lot. One of exercises consist of running around the school two times. When run the first lap, walk the second half, and run the rest. Every time I run, I get tired too easily. When I breathe, it’s at a very fast past, and my throat feels very dry. My coach tells be it’s because I don’t breathe through my nose and out my mouth. I breathe opened mouthed and out.

Most athletes when they breathe, they breath in through their nose and exhale out of their mouths. Your coach is right. That’s how I breathe when I’m boxing. It’s a habit that if you get into, it comes naturally even when you are doing your most exercise or are exercising non stop and that includes running.
