Money help: I am a mother of four about to lose the home we have lived in for five years. - Help.com

I am a mother of four about to lose the home we have lived in for five years.

My husband is in construction and can’t get forty hours in and so we can’t get up the money to move. I’ve tried all the local organizations and social organizations to no avail. Evidently even they are low on money. Does anyone know where we can get help to move out? We need at least 2,000 dollars to do so by the end of the month.

Not sure about over there but here in the UK if you call your mortgage company and explain things to them they will help you with a lower repayment plan, its a new government initiative, have you called your mortgage company to find out if they can do anything like this for you?

We are actually renting and were going to buy home but it was sold before we were able to. So now we have thirty days to find something else.
This was a surprise to us so we did not have any money put away to move. We can’t get approved for a mortgage because of bad credit. Although the past couple of years we have been working on our credit but still to low for a mortgage. It is a 590, thirty points to low for fha loan. Thank you anyway for suggestion.

To tell you the truth it was my parents that kicked us out. I don’t have what you would call a normal family. My parents were never really parents. I was raised by my grandmother. I moved into this house thinking that for the first time in my life my parents were doing something to help me but ultimately it was for their own gain. We didn’t buy the house in time so… My friends are pretty much in the same boat so don’t really have room for a family of six. I don’t know. I am sure something will happen. Something good has to happen. We are good people we just have to be patient.
