My CD player in my laptop isnt working!

Its so annoying. whenever i put in a cd it just doesnt recognise it…unless i reboot, which is annoying if u change cd often. any1 knows wtf is wrong?

If it’s only got a CD player I suggest buying a new laptop.

Otherwise the laser could … be bad? no…
All I can suggest is taking it out and checking it out, but w/e.

it IS working…so cant be the laser… Its just it (appearantly) isnt completely aware… Like now i have a DVD in it and i cant play it! It knows its there but the media player says its not!
