I’ve gone to college and received 8 college degrees.

Problem is I have a back problem and the nearest city is an hour and a half drive. Locally I’ve been offered jobs amazed at my qualifications and experience but as soon as they find out about my back they want nothing to do with me. I want to much to be productive and use my unique skills and experiences but I’m stuck in a mountain town with most of the factories closed. I need a place and a chance to prove myself. Any suggestions?

You may have to move. Is that possible? What type of job do you want? What kind of degrees do you have? Could you have your own business, then people wouldn’t have to know about your back problems.

It took ten years going nights and weekends. Half my SSI payments go to rent and even more to other expenses. I tried a stint in NYC as stockbroker trainee but it turned out to be cold calling 9 hours a day which would of lasted two years before I could sell stocks. I didn;t have secure living situation either. I tried looking in Fla but car broke down and didn’t get to look. I do some computer repairs but there is not much business here.
