Ok:
- Don’t worry about the boyfriend thing. It doesn’t matter where you go: you two will either make it work, or learn that it was not meant to be forever. Don’t worry about college tearing apart something that was meant to be - it won’t happen.

- Don’t worry about the AP Bio. Just take Bio when you get to college. That’s really not a big deal at all. But do well - college is really not hard work, it’s just about putting in the time every week to get work done.

- In terms of MD versus anywhere else - don’t worry too much. Send out a lot of applications - as many as you can afford - both in and out of state. Don’t worry about getting into the “best” med schools, either. I don’t want to sound mean, but you did fail the AP test. Just focus on getting into a good school.

- You GPA in high school will never matter for med school. Just apply to a bunch of schools, then get your GPA up in COLLEGE.

- Look at your SATs, GPA, etc, then apply to relevant schools. People go to state schools and become great doctors. It is how you do in whatever college you do get into that matters.

- Dancing counts just as much as sports for most applications. Your essay will matter more than that. Softball your senior year will probably not make any difference, but you can try. Community service would probably be smarter.

- It is fine if you feel unprepared for college. You could always do something else for a year - work in a laboratory, work in a community service organization, go to a community college at the same time to get college credits - etc. Sometimes colleges find people with practical experience to be more interesting. Just stop worrying about how what you’ve done in high school matters for med school. Med Schools care about college.

I really hope so. I just want to let you know not to stress yourself out too much. I’ve been through the process and you haven’t ruined anything yet.
