Do You Love Your Animal?

My cat is sick… Toby. And he’s been through this before. He’s my world, I love him but I can’t lose him. Especially now of all times.

Thank-you. He’s ill right now, but I think he’s invincible. I think & believe that he’s God’s gift. An angel. He’s always there for me, so now it’s my turn to give back what he’s given to me.

I love my cat Toby. He has to stay in a cage until tomorrow morning. Then I take him to the vet. I have to be with him the whole time. He makes SO HAPPY! =)

I have a cat named Toby! He’s 8yrs.old, & is always there for me. The look in his eyes says it all. He’s in pain, & it needs to stop. Yeah, he’ll be okay. He just needs A LOT if care right now. He’s with me right now… Like he’s always been.

THANK-YOU! My 2 cats passed-away last year! Both from Leukemia… Toby is my world. He’s entered mine, & I’m unwilling to let him out. Why should I? When he’s always been here with me? He’s the most expensive cat in the world, but I wouldn’t change A THING! I’m a cat person as well, they’re strong. But I have a rabbit. Man is he funny looking! Lolz

No, he doesn’t live in a cage! Just for today, because he has a cathoder, & he’s healing. He’s not a Persian though I forgot what he is. Though he is a poly-dactyl. Where he has a few more toes & fingers. I consider him as family.

Ooooooohh… HA HA HA!!! That is funny! Yeah he does, but he also follows me around the house. He goes outside everyday & plays in the roses! He’s a miniature rabbit so he doesn’t make a big mess like large ones. =)

He got back from them at 5:00p.m today. They said it was his urinary tract, where his bladder got clogged & he was unable to use the restroom.=( But, he had this happen before, only this time it was much worse! He went missing for a day & I knew something was wrong… The veterinarian said that he was “A very sick cat.” meaning he needed medical attention, it gave me quite the scare. That’s what I woke-up to was “Toby has to go to the vet!”, he’ll be okay. Soon enough. It’s enough for me that he lived!

God bless you all for loving animals the way you do. God sees and knows all. It will come back to you for caring so much. I love my animals but something has happened to me and i cannot take care of them emotionally like Idid. I cannot give them up, I would not last a day. So, I know how strong love can be for an animal. I would jump into a volcano for mine.

Just depression over work and having to borrow from people who now think I am a loser and think I should take my dogs to a shelter or have them euthanized. They have food and water and Heart Guard and Frontline, but if something doesn’t happen within the next week or so, I will be that loser. I have tried everything and the economy is bad for everybody. I cannot give up my animals. I could no more euthanize them than one of you! They are happy and healthy, I am the one that is unhappy and unhealthy due to this economic slow down, or cluster, or debacle. But, I have live a very frugal life for the past ten years and I cannot cut anything else out. I have NO family, and I have helped many people. But, times are freaking everybody out. I just have to have a job within the next week. And I pray all the time. It is just bad out there

Have you tried looking on ‘Craigslist.com’ ? There you find places to live, jobs, & there you can find a temporary home for your animals. People do it all the time. Trust me, take a look at it, & don’t give-up.

I agree the economy just continues in it’s downfall… When will it stop? We’ll find out the day it does.

Thanks, but I have tried a lot of things, to no avail. Craig’s list, not quite ready for that.I cannot live without my animals. They are all rescued and have “issues” and are special needs animals. No, I cannot leave them with someone else. I will find something, it is just keeping me awake worrying about it, that’s all. I have to go try and sleep, have an early appointment for a certification update that I need. Thanks again. God bless

Toby is doing better. I had to left him at the vet for a few hours. I have to pick-up him again. He has to have the cathodor still. You know how the vets are, they aren’t open during the weekends!!! So I’m just happy to have him. I stayed up with him for about the whole night. I got a few hours in.

I just got back from the vet yet again! Dr.D said that, he may have kidney damage! And if they fail, he said “If that happens we’re in REAL BIG trouble!”, he told me of a vet who does kidney transplants for cats, & other animals. It will cost $30,000!!! That’s a loan!

Hey it’s Tony here! Toby, when he woke-up today start talking to me! =) He is doing much better! I just hope that the vet tomorrow thinks the same thing! I had a guy on the phone tell me that if he did have permanent damage that it would be best to put him to sleep to end his suffering! I couldn’t even talk after that, I just left the phone… He has an appetite & everything. Last night he spent hours sleeping either next to me in in my arms ( he can’t be picked-up, so I have to put my arms around him). I had the cage door open & he WAS laying half-ways out the door on a pillow but he made a break for it! HA HA!! LOL! It made me laugh, how can I get mad at Toby? He just gave-up & put his back to the door, & is ignoring me! =( Figures he’s a P.U.N.K! =) But I would never change ANYTHING!

I can relate to your situation. I’ve had my cat pickles all my life a good 20 years now. Lately she has been having some kind of seizures or something along with arthritis. She is my everything.

Same here. I’ve had Toby for over 8yrs. now. I wouldn’t care if I had to give him shots a few times a week! =) But I wouldn’t want him to suffer! =( That would be cruel, but too hard for me to let go. I have a hard time saying good-bye. =[ But I like to think positive thoughts. Until yesterday, putting him…. Well you know, had never crossed my mind until someone told me that that would be best so he wouldn’t suffer, so I just walked away… But thank-you archykins! =)

Toby lives to see yet another day! =] You can’t imagine how happy I am right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
