i have no stamina, i need to start exercising as i want to join the navy and for my fitness test i have to run 1.5miles in 13minutes.

At the moment i can barely run for more than 7 minutes without giving up. I think about exercise all the time, i just wish i could do it as much as i thought about it. All i need now is to get fit and toned up.

Here’s how I can do it. Start with a walk in the morning & in the evening but it should be 2 miles. Eat an egg everyday, & drink chocolate milk after each work-out. It’ll help with the building of muscles! =) Record your time every time you run/jog. That will help A LOT!

Do you have a treadmill? 1.5 miles in 13 minutes is pretty easy.

i dont think its 13 i think its 10 min because marines and air force are both 10 min for a 1.5 mile run.

and dont worry about it because in basic training they will train you to meat the requirements.

I agree, if and when you start training with your class. If you aren’t able to meet the requirements then they’ll take you into a different room & train you one on one. What has made you decide such a decision?

High protein and carbs would do great for you. Start having eggs in addition to Whey protein. I prefer taking Whey protein by optimum nutrition. That will help you build muscularity and a toned body. Have carbs right before your workout or jog. Like 2-3 brown breads (that’s what I have) and a banana. Follow the diet and workout regularly and you will see your stamina improving. I have done all this to increase my strength and stamina and believe me, it did wonders for me.

All the best!
