Haha probably not super often, but you know that’s only if you lace it really tight. Which, um, I’m still going to do :) I’ll make sure that I can somewhat breathe though LOL

If you want a legit one then dont buy from anywhere that sizes like that or in dress sizes. Also, hate to say it but a good quality one would probably be more expensive.
Corsets should always be sold by waist size, usually 4 inches smaller than your natural waist size.
I think the best boning is steal spiral boning.
Where are you from? If you are in the UK then I have shops I can recommend, but in the US or elsewhere it’d be waaay to expensive to ship.
And corsets dont hurt, at all. If they hurt then they dont fit.
Once you are used to it they arent too hard to put on either :)
Wait, if I wanted to buy this particular one though (I can’t afford a super super good quality one right now, I’m more just experimenting at this point), should I get it in a size smaller than my actual measurements?

I have a few corsets myself, offcourse all steel boning.
Personally I like Meschantes, most of my corsets are from them(http://www.meschantes.com/ they are very nice and helpfull, everything is custom made, you always choose your fabric - and they cinch down if you want to try lacing down, they are good for tightlacers)
Also adore some more high priced (http://corsetmaker.com/ *drool*) and offcourse ebay.com (there’s some very good corsetmakers on there, search for “custom, busk”) also I’d recommend looking on http://community.livejournal.com/cors… great stuff on there - eye candy!

If I were you I would find an actual shop that you can go into and try stuff on before you buy it, but if you are set on that corset then you could email the shop and ask how they size them. But, if when you try it on the front isnt flat then take it back. Because a lot of cheap corsets buckle at the front in the middle and that can cause posture problems and stomach problems.
But Im sure if you emailed the shop they could tell you about the sizing.
Ohh I like fairygothmother (: but just a little expensive, hahaha, I mean eventually I’ll buy a couple from there cause they’re gorgeous, but right now I really want something that isn’t too horribly expensive but is decent.
*nod* agree with PheeGee WKD makes awesome things - I wish there were more occasions to wear those kind of things.. they’re just so pretty.
And I think FGM has a shop in the UK, anyway, it’s all about the fit/shape. If it’s just a bit too loose or puts pressure in the wrong places (back boobs!) it’s a really personal thing and every body is different - so if you can, ask if you can be send it to try it on.

Yes, definitely. Ive tried on corsets that were gorgeous but didnt fit my boobs or that were gorgeous but just slightly wrong boning meant that it hurt my hips. They NEED to fit you.
Sigurros, Ive been saving up for a WKD corset for so long. I got a FGM underbust in a sale a while back and in a local lingerie shop I got a red raw silk chinese brocade overbust for (seriously now) £15!

And Sigurros, Im the opposite lol. I lost weight and so my underbust which did take me in by four now only takes me in my one or two inches :(
Those shoes are awesome lol, theyre the kind of shoes id see and go, awww theyre cool but Id never know what to wear them with.
Maybe we can swap corsets *smiles* smallest I have are 22 or 24″ (I can’t even remember it’s been so long since those fit me)
