I’m starting to think this site is the only place i could get a response to a problem, even more so than i would from friends.

I honestly think that i’ve socially exiled myself, on some mental level, on purpose. Why have i done this too myself?

You might be depressed. Social isolation often helps short term, but in the long run, it is often more damaging. Speak to someone who cares and tell them how you’ve been feeling!

Best of luck.

Sounds like some sort of defence mechanism to protect youself while you are a unwell/depressed. I think you should speak to someone and break the cycle. Getting help would not be a bad idea and maybe speaking to a health professional for advise.
