I don’t want to leave him

This may seem a bit dramatic. I’m going to New York on Tuesday for six days, from Ireland. It’s not long, but that’s how my family are, we get homesick so easily. But the thoughts of going without my boyfriend are killing me. He got back from a two-week holiday from Salou last Monday and it just seems too soon. I have too much guilt and I know as soon as the plane takes off, it’s going to get emotional. His parents are away in Ibiza for two weeks from last Friday, so he’s all alone. He keeps trying to reassure me he’ll be fine and I know he will, so why am I feeling like this? I’ve wanted to go to New York my whole life. I just can’t get rid of the guilt.

My goh you are soooo fortunate to be able to go on holiday!!

I wish I could get away… and had a family…and was still with my love of my life… the point is enjoy yourself!!

He will still be there when you get back!! If your desperate there are cafes everywhere maybe even in your hotel also… so skype, msn, email, text, you can keep in touch. Plus when you get back you will both have soooo much to talk about =) and share with each other.
