What is life?

Life is a game we play,
Not to say what you truley think or feel,
But to demonstrate what is not real,
We act calm cool and collected,
But feel broken, empty and rejected,

Any truth thats told,
Turns other people cold,
Ridiculed into craziness,
So we stay in a state of emotional laziness.

We stay in this game,
That is apparently life,
Playing a role looking for connection,
Out of fear of any rejection.

But real connections aren’t formed from false pretenses,
Try as we may, we can’t fool our senses.
Our hearts are still worlds apart.

A game is something to be played.
A life is something to be cherished with sincerity,
Let’s break out of this false reality.

tell me what you think.

I don’t play the game & I like the poem.

Life is a mistake,
Swaying across the lines,
Teaches us when not to break,
If only we could read the signs.

Life is a test. The good news is that all people can pass it if they apply some principles
